Description
PROX Tairaba Air-K 205
A really specialized 98% carbon rod, specially designed for the Tai rubber technique and for rubber or slider from 50 to 180gr or 40 to 150gr.
It is 2.05m long and is equipped with guides and a Fuji base while it is made of carbon with cross wrapped braid.
The Tairaba has amazing tip sensitivity and a very progressive application of force as it is designed for fishing with thin thread-line diameters.
Specifically, the rod can use thread from PE # 1.0 and corresponding thread, but if necessary, it can handle thread up to # 2.5.
Although it has a very slim silhouette, it is intended for big reds where it will not be difficult to tire them and bring them out safely.
It is split in length along the handle and weighs just 132gr. In appearance it is a jewel and wins you over at first sight! A tai rubber rod from the high performance Prox!
