The Oceanic Spider II is the older version and is still available because it is more economical as it has Sea Guide Low Rider guides and a simple fabric case. These guides have an advantage as they are lighter resulting in the whole being 10 grams lighter.  Another difference is the inverted reel base (screwed to the top) which reduces the total length of the handle to 32cm. The latter has more EVA than cork compared to Spider III.  Their behavior is exactly the same since blank is common for both models.
