Oceanic Egido Cast
Cast squids have been built with long throws in mind, as evidenced by their English name.
This is achieved due to the aerodynamic shape but also with the addition of metal balls that go down to the back of the tail during the throw for a better center of gravity and during the recovery they come to the head and better weighing in the cruise. Also during jerks, the pellets produce noise that attracts squid and cuttlefish.
It has a slow sinking rate which has been proven to be ideal for Mediterranean squid.
